How we meet the needs of our parents

The Quest School is an independent special school which caters for children aged 5 – 19 with autism, who have an Education, Health Care Plan.

At Quest School we use the method of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), which is a structured teaching approach built on the principles of behaviour science, which defines how we all learn and acquire new skills.  An understanding of how we teach and learn new skills is relevant to all children and young people. However, it is particularly pertinent for young people with autism who do not necessarily learn in the same way as their peers.

The Quest School is committed to providing a fully inclusive environment, which recognises and meets diversity of need.  Each pupil is valued as being special and unique, with their own rich mix of abilities, strengths and talents.  Whilst recognising that they all have difficulties to overcome, we are committed to enabling them to get the most out of life.

Whatever the learning capabilities of each pupil, we will help them make progress across all aspects of the curriculum, with all pupils at KS4 or KS5 achieving some nationally accredited external qualifications.
